A lot of you wanted an update on the destitute who gave birth to a baby boy on the streets of Ketu yesterday (If you missed it, find it here). Well, here it is. The woman was later taken to a clinic on the same street she delivered yesterday. Name and address of clinic is Oba's Prolific Clinic and Maternity Home, 27, Adisa Akintoye street, Ketu, Lagos. (in case anyone wants to go visit her)
Esther is in the clinic at the moment and she and her baby are being well taken care of according to my source. A register has been opened for her and the new born where all donations are recorded.
The Oba of Ketu and delegates from his palace eventually visited her yesterday at the clinic. The Oba notified a social welfare agency and also blessed her. A lot of people have been trooping in and out since yesterday to visit the woman with gifts.
The woman was actually mentally unstable. From what the people in the neighbourhood said, some touts in the area took advantage of her condition and raped her. But thankfully she's speaking very normal now, very calm and can now remember where she's from. She said she's from Ondo State.
A rep of the clinic said about three different agencies from the Lagos State government, one of which is Office of Youth and Sports Developments, Alausa, had visited her in the hospital. Some agencies are working to take Sister Esther and her baby back home to her family in Ondo state.
Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o is on a roll and there's no stopping her. So happy for her. She got a standing ovation from Hollywood last night as she was named Best Supporting Actress at the Critics Choice Awards for her role in 12 Years A Slave. Actress Cate Blanchett won Best Actress for Blue Jasmine. And that dress on her! Oh and she got to meet Oprah who has said in the past that she loved Lupita's role in the movie. See more pics and full list of Critics Choice Awards winners after the cut...

Wife of Indian minister found dead, following reports he had an affair
The wife of Indian minister Shashi Tharoor has been found dead, following reports he had an affair, Indian media say. Sunanda Pushkar is reported to have been found dead in a five-star hotel in Delhi, according to police sources.
The couple became embroiled in controversy over a series of Twitter messages on Wednesday Jan. 15th that appeared to reveal he was having an affair with Pakistani journalist, Mehr Tahrar. They later insisted they were happily married, blaming "unauthorised tweets". Ms Pushkar admitted publishing the tweets, but later denied it.
Reports said that her husband had informed the police of her death. It was unclear how she died. Mr Tharoor married Ms Pushkar, a former Dubai-based businesswoman, in 2010.
Ms Tahrar, who denied having an affair with the minister, tweeted after she heard of Ms Pushkar's death: "I'm absolutely shocked.
"This is too awful for words. So tragic I don't know what to say. Rest in peace, Sunanda."
Mr Tharoor, a former UN diplomat, was forced to resign from his first ministerial position in 2010 amid controversy over his involvement in bidding for a cricket team.
Ms Pushkar had allegedly received a free stake in the Indian Premier League franchise he was bidding for.
